Charles Mountain

Charles Mountain is a Research Principal at Hivemind. Charles focuses on constructing Hivemind's algorithmic trading strategies and venture theses in DeFi and Web3. Prior to Hivemind, Charles led a team of quantitative engineers on the Equity Derivatives trading desk at Citi and established a novel real-time analytics platform. Before working in the Markets division, Charles held multiple roles in technology as a full-stack developer specializing in system design and architecture. He also co-founded an industrial scale ASIC and GPU mining operation powered entirely by renewable energy in 2017. Charles holds a BE in Computer Engineering from the University of Miami.
